Why Does My Adobe Flash Player Keep on Crashing?

If you're using Firefox, chances are you've seen the message "Adobe Flash Player Plugin Crashed" at least once when you're watching videos on the Internet. Apparently, the problem is not originating with Firefox, so the logical solution of updating your Adobe to a recent version will not work in this case. That said, switching to another browser isn't the solution as your Player will still crash in other browsers.

Here's how I prevented my Flash Player from crashing again.

1. Uninstall your current Adobe Flash Player. Download and save this Uninstall Adobe

2. Close all open browsers.

In some cases, you'll get the prompt that you still need to close some programs that are open, when in fact, you don't have any open programs running. Here's what you can do. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to open the task manager. Click the processes tab and look for the applications you need to close according to the Adobe uninstaller. Find it fast by looking for a .exe file. When you found it, just click END PROCESS.

3. Run the Adobe Uninstaller.

Now that's done, you need to reinstall an old version of Adobe Flash Player. Firefox recommends installing 10.3 for security reasons.

4. So, get Adobe Flash Player 10.3 here : Install Adobe Flash 10.3

5. Run the exe file and you're done!

Enjoy watching videos again anywhere!
