How to Know Your Sun Cellular Broadband Wireless Number (without using SMS)

NOTE: The process applies to all Sun Cellular SIMs including postpaid and prepaid. It's free of charge so it'll perfectly work for Sun Cellular SIMs that ran out of load (and that you couldn't load because you forgot or didn't know the number).

You just got your new Sun Cellular Broadband Wireless subscription modem and you forgot to ask the number from the business center and you still have to receive your bill from the company, but you want to know your number. You can send an SMS to your phone or call your phone to see your number, but let's just say you don't want to do both. What do you do?

1. Insert the SIM card into any phone
2. Dial *#99# or *99#
3. Press SEND/CALL

Your number will automatically appear on the screen.

Hope this helps.

How to Remove Timeline on Facebook

In actual fact, you cannot strip your Facebook account off its timeline look. Once your profile is converted to Timeline, you'd be on Timeline for the rest of your Facebook life (at least at the time of writing, and as long as FB technical staff are on their toes warding off hackers and wannabe hackers like you and me). You can however, view your profile (and everybody else's, for that matter) in its old style. That means that you can view your profile like it was before Timeline happened, but technically, your profile is still on Timeline feature (so that your friends and everybody else who'll look at your profile will still see the Timeline). Change can happen on your end only (unless of course your friends have disabled the Timeline also). So, how do you hide and disable timeline? Simple, you tweak your browser.

There are many Timeline removers for different browsers available on the net, some are free of charge some are not. Some are complicated and some are simple. I'd recommend this as it's really a simple "click download button, run the file and voila!" (it's free too), but you can also download anything you prefer.

Happy Facebooking!

Why Does My Adobe Flash Player Keep on Crashing?

If you're using Firefox, chances are you've seen the message "Adobe Flash Player Plugin Crashed" at least once when you're watching videos on the Internet. Apparently, the problem is not originating with Firefox, so the logical solution of updating your Adobe to a recent version will not work in this case. That said, switching to another browser isn't the solution as your Player will still crash in other browsers.

Here's how I prevented my Flash Player from crashing again.

1. Uninstall your current Adobe Flash Player. Download and save this Uninstall Adobe

2. Close all open browsers.

In some cases, you'll get the prompt that you still need to close some programs that are open, when in fact, you don't have any open programs running. Here's what you can do. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL to open the task manager. Click the processes tab and look for the applications you need to close according to the Adobe uninstaller. Find it fast by looking for a .exe file. When you found it, just click END PROCESS.

3. Run the Adobe Uninstaller.

Now that's done, you need to reinstall an old version of Adobe Flash Player. Firefox recommends installing 10.3 for security reasons.

4. So, get Adobe Flash Player 10.3 here : Install Adobe Flash 10.3

5. Run the exe file and you're done!

Enjoy watching videos again anywhere!
